GUIDE TO GLAZED TILE ABRASION RESISTANCE GRADINGS
- P.E.I. Grade 2 is Suitable for very light domestic use only (some livingrooms, bathrooms and bedrooms)
- P.E.I. Grade 3 is Suitable for light domestic use only (not kitchens or entrance halls etc.).
- P.E.I. Grade 4 is Suitable for general domestic use and some light commercial applications.
- P.E.I. Grade 5 is Suitable for most commercial applications.
Please Note - Any porcelain tile for outside use must be fitted onto a solid properly prepaired concrete base and fixed with a frost resistant adhesive also suitable porcelain for outside use.
